ARNOLD CLARK AUTOMOBILES LTD

how can a sales manager at a Stirling branch remain in his post after been found
guilty by an internal inquiry of sexual harassment? an unnamed source has
personally seen the sales manager grope, touch up and pass filthy innuendos to
female staff. is this the kind of man you would like to conduct business
with???????( the female in question was moved to another branch) .

hi, as i currently work for AC's i obviously wish to remain anon, so for the
purpose of this letter u can attribute it to Scoobanon.
On to the point. I read one of the comments that a sales manager had been found
guilty in an internal inquiry into sexual harassment. that's nothing that doesn't
happen all over the country in work places. however it is alleged that a salesman from the Seafield
site in Edinburgh molested the managers daughter at a party, was booted from that
site by two others before ending up in the Livingston branch.
fact or fiction  ?- well I heard he was charged by the police and went to court over it.
in all the papers as well I think the headline went like "dirty dancing perv" as
he was doing the deed in time to tom Jones music at a party. found guilty of a
lesser charge and sentenced to community service. and the Fuxxer still works for
the company!!!!!

I bought a new Rover 25 motor car from Arnold Clark, Balfield Road, Dundee, Scotland. Within the first 2 months a part of the front strut had to be replaced. After 4 months the exhaust was making a strange noise and it was put down to the handbrake cable hitting off the exhaust. The noise is still there. I have tried in vain to get a replacement and was told by the sales manager if I don't feel safe in it then don't drive it.

I booked my VW bora for a service with "AC". I dropped it at 8.00am. At 1.45pm a
service assistant called to say that they would not service my car, as it was
not due. However the service indicator on the dash read "service due in
500miles". When I said this, the rep. from "AC" said, "don't worry about the
read out on the dash, we never go by it". He then proceeded to say that it was
probably a fault and that they had reset it. He was very noncommittal when I
challenged him about VW having a service indicator on the car if their dealers
ignored (a fact that I shall write to VW about]. Any way I collected my car to
find that the service indicator had not been reset. After 50miles the oil light
came on. Had "AC" checked te car? I can only assume not.

Your history almost completely mirrors my experience with Arnold ! A complete
load of shysters, should be closed down or burned out.
Congratulations on your site - I thoroughly approve, pity there are not more
like you.
Regards

My mate bought a BMW m3 from Arnold Clark (full spec) and when he went too collect the car the wheels had been changed ,reducing the value of the car by £1,500 to £2,000 ,..Now this is where it gets interesting ,one of the salesmen has a BMW that my mate sold on too Arnold on a previous visit ,then when he went too pick up the m3 ,yes no firkin m3 wheels .i will give you £0.50 if you can tell me which BMW the nice new wheels are on ,now to cut a long story short ,they told him he is off his trolly and there was no nice m3 wheels on the car to start with ................ HA
I have recently been in written communication between Toyota head office and
Arnold clark head office following the Stirling Branch of Arnold Clark looking
at my car following some minor problems, in doing so they broke my drivers air
bag ignition and the steering lock. I then took it into my local dealer
(Aberdeen) who tried to charge me almost 1000 pounds to fix the repair that the
engineer in Stirling had broken.
I am now back in writing to Head office following a parts failure 2 months after
its 3 year warranty , which has cost me over 500 pounds.

hi there,
i would advise anyone considering putting their car into Arnold Clark for an mot
to first of all go out and get a second job and re-mortgage their house.
i put my MINTED!!!!(inside and out) Honda civic in to be told that i required a
shitload of repairs (too many to list) to pass the mot at a cost of £1500.
i took my car to another garage for a second opinion and got it back later the
same day complete with mot certificate.

Arnold Clark is about as much help and use as a roof rack on a helicopter!

There is a arnold clark garage across the road from us they had a ford fiesta T
reg for sale when it was round the back on the garage it cost £2998 then it was
round the front at £4998. Now they have got there REAL SALE it has was £4998 Now
£3788 in the window of the car and they have just sold it for £3500. Not a bad
profit and I bet the person who bought it thinks they got a fab deal don't think
they would if they new how much it was before the sale..
